This page contains the 7 Minute Briefings and One Minute Guides (OMG). Each briefing and OMG has been developed around specific safeguarding areas to support practitioners learning. There is a 7 Minute Briefing Guide (PDF, 588KB) that explains what the briefings are and how they can be used within team learning events. The CESCP is aware of increasing pressure on services, which can make it difficult to release staff to attend training, as well as the need to keep learning and developing to maintain a skilled workforce, and that these short, team based learning resources may be a helpful way to support learning. The briefings will be updated with new information (such as learning from serious case reviews) or can be used as a reminder/repeat of basic information with challenge to think about the application to practice in the team.
